I’ve been waiting so long to be able to decorate our family home for Christmas! 🎄
The olive tree has Christmas lights as well but I think I’ll have to add some baubles- maybe during tomorrow afternoon nap time😅

I can’t claim the door bow idea- @hayleyberlingeri has a fantastic reel showing you how to do it! 🎀

Tiling for the porch, veranda and all fresco is all done ✅ we love it! by @oakhaus_

Life’s better with lawn…and plantation shutters 🏡💗 big thanks to my husband who laid it while I wrangled our tiny tot 😝 team work makes the dream work🤓 now onto planting some trees and shrubs 🌱🌼🌾🪻🍁🍃
Edit: should also mention the fantastic guys at @vanscapes.strathalbyn who have pretty much done everything else in this photo! Lawn prep, driveway, stones and steppers and irrigation! If you’re in the hills and need landscapers these guys are so professional and honest and great at what they do🌻 by @oakhaus_

2 weeks in our dream home! 🔑 🏡 we are settling in very nicely😝 it’s so surreal to be walking around a house that we designed ourselves from scratch💕 taken in Oakbank, South Australia by @oakhaus_

Hello again🤓 Update: we are still around 4 weeks from handover as our 3-phase power was not installed at all🙃🙃🙃 so that’s a fun time. We are so (negative emotion) but not much we can do at this stage. The only thing getting us through atm is the fact we will be moving into our dream home and that V will finally get his own bedroom cause mum and dad neeeeed their space haha 🙃🙃🙃 #staytuned by @oakhaus_

LANDSCAPING 🌳🍃🌾

It’s been a lot more difficult for us to make our final choices for our landscaping, after what seems like 1001 choices made from scratch for the house. We had our hearts set on red brick paving and driveway, but we are becoming quite swayed to exposed aggregate due to ease of maintenance and the polished look it gives. I’m also not wanting whatever we pick to clash with the tiled porch and veranda that I’d like….therefore my brain is about to explode 🤯 would love some thoughts and opinions on red brick vs aggregate! Currently flicking through our inspo pics and trying to keep true to the vision 😆🤪😅🫠

So happy with the colour we chose for our @jameshardieau Linea boards 😍
We went with @duluxaus Winter Terrace, despite not ever seeing a house in real life painted in this colour. We wanted something that would subtly contrast with the white finishes/trim. We are so stoked that painting is happening inside of our house too! 🥳🥳🥳
