✨ We're goin' up, up, up! It's our moment! You know together we're glowing. Gonna be, gonna be goldеn!

What a great day to show my love for besties @vikingbeastofburden and @wellness_cowboy and my support of the LGBTQ+ community, and @oclgbtpride through dance! 🌈

Thank you @foxydaddykia for the choreo that is so easy to learn and looks great for anyone to perform. 💃🕺

To all of the dancers: you guys brought the light and the joy! (And in case of @phoebes.tales , also the snek!) It's been an honor and pleasure having gone on this journey with you all. ❤️

I've been training my cardio endurance and my knees for this since the first rehearsal in May. I'm going to keep up my 123 BPM dance walk because it's been hella fun, but I'm okay without all the jumping for a while. 😅

My heart is full. Thanks for the memory!

We're at @germandeli and nobody wants to eat. 😫

Okay fine. We're stuffed from having just finished our geek girl brunch at @pamelastearoom. Whatever. 😜

After the second rewatch, I posted begging @netflix for a sing along in theaters, manifesting it into reality. And here we are!

We had a blast last night at the KPop Demon Hunters sing-along. Our theater was absolutely lively with families, adults, teens, and everything in between. We laughed. We screamed. We sang. We danced. It was the most joyous thing I've done in a long time.

Thanks for coming along with me @marcietaylor @anitalaumhw @bisforbee !

The honmoon remains sealed!

#Inktober Day 16: Gangly.

I couldn't remember what they were called or what show they were on but the image of creepy, floaty, gangly vampire demons came to my mind immediately. Somehow "creepy, floaty, gangly vampire demons" were not descriptive enough for Google to give me the answer. 🤣 I got there eventually though.

The Gentlemen from @buffytvs Buffy the Vampire Slayer have been living rent-free in my head, apparently.

No gym pic. Yes breakfast pic. 🥞 The gym was busy on Tuesday I didn't take any pics. Instead you get one of the reasons I work out: @sunnysidesb pancakes!

Back logging my Tuesday workout because I forgot. 😅

I've come to the conclusion that as much of a bad ass I feel doing overhead barbell press, I need to build more strength before I can do it properly and not hurting my lower back. Back to dumbbell presses for a while.

🏋️‍♀️ Deadlift. Set of 3. 125 lbs. x 1. 130 lbs. x 4. Overhead press. Set of 3. 35 lbs. x 3.

👊 Feeling punchy so I did. 😜

🧘‍♀️ Also had a nice calming yoga. I do love how grounded I feel afterward.

#Inktober Day 14: Lady

Lady Danbury is an inspiration enough for me to draw a full size person...that is not chibi style! 🤣

#Inktober Day 13: Flimsy

Oh, poor Wile. Not again!

It's also becoming a bit of tradition to have one Wile every Inktober. I think I'm okay with that!

Cool day cauldron cooking.

Before Mother Nature turned up the heat again, I took the Costco "bean pot" out for a spin.

First, the yellow eye beans from @rancho_gordo , cooked simply with onion, garlic and bay leaves. Portioned out 2 cups for the chili, froze the rest.

Then my Rainy Day chili recipe, perfected over the years from other recipes I came across.

While I think I prefer my vintage dutch oven, cooking in a cauldron just feels more magical. 😜

#Inktober Day 12: Toss

Gimli came to mind immediately. I started with a more action scene with Aragorn in it, but Gimli got kind of tiny and I didn't like how the scene look. Besides but I couldn't get chibi Aragorn right. 😅

Thanks to a friend for tickets for Nora and I to see "Schubert's Mass in G" by @lbcamerata this evening.

I have forgotten how powerful choral music can be.

There's something about hearing choral music written for mass in an actual church. Whatever your faith is--organized religion or personal spiritual leanings--I believe music performed in faith has cosmic power. Whether I'm of that particular faith or not, I can FEEL it in my soul.

For me, arts, especially performing arts, has healing properties whether as an audience or as performers. This weekend I got to do both.

My cup runneth over. 🥰

#inktober Day 11: Rescue

Not sure who rescued whom but I'm glad it happened. @bastandisis definitely changed our lives.

Thanks to the good folks at @helensanderscatpaws who rescued the girls in the first place.
