Extremely sad to hear about @thelenzman passing away last week. It is hard to describe how much his tunes and mixes held my mental health together in my late teens and early 20’s.

The dope tape, the soul tape, welcome to 2014, the bukem in session mix, looking at the stars album mix, the boombox, the enso tape… I could go on!

I truly admire what he’s done for the soulful sound with @thenorthquarter and how vocal he was about standing up for what is right in the music scene and beyond. The outpouring of love for him and his family this week really just cements that.

Lucky to have been able to meet the guy and tell him how much it all means, because it means the world. I wouldn’t be making music if it wasn’t for him.
