I geniunely feel that stuf is the worst part of the oreo. I don't know why anyone would want more stuf, it's overly sweet and never the flavor i want in oreo-flavor things. If I think oreo, I think the cookie part.

Does anyone else feel their brain atrophying? I'm finding it difficult to write. If anyone sees this, try writing a page of original fiction and get back to me. I want to see if it's a symptom of a larger issue or just writers block. As of now I'm blaming an increased reliance on short form content and scrolling, and need to read more, but maybe it's my own personal writers block.

Some outfits and things I haven't posted, that I wanted saved somewhere as my phone is on its last legs and I never back up photos. I'm working on moving my travel photos into my laptop, then onto a usb. I have already printed the ones I really like, but random stuff like this isn't really worth archiving in that way. by @obbieventide

Sharing some from the last show I got to play with my friends, and the last we got to play with Neffy. We have found an amazing musician to work with though (keep your calenders marked July!!)). We are hoping to finish up two more originals before recording and seeing about getting our music someplace. Highlight from the show for me was the multiple crowdsurfers, and a super cool person who came up and shared a very genuine discussion about Roots/Untitled Scene song which made me feel very inspired to keep writing. Thank you to all the lovely new friends and old ones who made the time to share another amazing night.

It genuinely pained me to have to order these photos. The first two are by my dear friend @s.ty.ler , and the last two are by the incredible @teststrip.photo !! Teagan is incredible and his photos captured the spirit of the night beautifully.

I just realized I didn't share anything from my trip and have been sitting on these photos for months. Probably more to come. Need to digital archive.

Had the most wonderful time in January with two of my very close friends. Shrines, Shopping, Food, Aquarium was all had. I was saying goodbye to a very good friend of mine and saying hello to another I had not seen for some time. Random selfies/outfits and things that weren't really significant enough to post but I figured why not indulge in a touch of the narcissism. So here's a mirror selfies mega post.

Been getting into Chuck Palahniuk for the first time lately and it's been such a treat to truly love a new author and have a whole series of works to discover and get lost in. It really is surprising I'd never touched his work before, is it is the sort of mood I find myself searching for. The prose is a bit jumpy but it works.

Been busy- lots of work, lots of playing chauffeur to shows, and getting to tackling my miles long to do list. Finding it all overwhelming so sometimes I'll disappear but still mostly reachable. It's been a productive time but I'm looking forward to this next few days of laziness. by @obbieventide

Wow cute shoes photo!

Anyways, I recently finished the Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides as well as a rewatch of my love Perfect Blue. This may very well be one of the best satirizations of girlhood, sexuality, and the dreadful gaze i have ever read... only, it isn't exactly a satire. The treatment of the girls in the novel is quite awful and he's self proclaimed it romantic when any woman and any person who reads it can hopefully see it is clearly not. This had me thinking of the great concept, "death of the author," one I have discussed at length internally since the first heartbreak of learning about an idol being a shit person and what it means. Does the story belong to the reader? Is the depth we place and "deconstructions" we make, headcanons that add more to otherwise empty characters (everyone's favorite boy Draco Malfoy for example) more valuable than authorial intent. In some fan spaces they almost become more true. If yes, what does this mean for the narratives people make about you, your own author? Is the idea of you created in anothers head formed by what you put out there more real or valuable. . . I could really write an hour long worthless youtube essay on this but I can't afford to become any more unbearable, friends. by @obbieventide
