The amazing talent that I get to work alongside everyday. La Familia #cheflife by @obiwanja_cobe
This is a HUGE moment so please excuse me while I POP OFF! Over the last 3 years I’ve went through incredible changes, faced countless challenges and adversities day in and day out..the ONE thing that has always kept me grounded has been food. Through food I’ve been able to change my life around completely and become not only a better version of me for me, but for those around me as well. I LOVE what I do man and I LOVE inspiring those around me. Today was one of the biggest challenges I’ve had to face in my life..AND I FUCKING DID IT! Here are the dishes that secured me the next step up the Culinary Arts ladder 😊 #promotion #cheflife🔪 #culinary Dish 1. Panko crusted Cajun fried shrimp on a seared cheesy grit cake. Finished with a red pepper creole sauce. Dish 2. 3rd coast octopus ceviche w/ a cilantro-lime-jalapeño sauce. Dish 3. Pan seared Chicken pasta in a creamy Cajun “VooDoo” sauce w/ toasted truffle garlic bread. Dish 4. Citrus-Almond polenta mini-cakes w/ ground almonds, fresh orange puree & candied orange peel. Garnished with deep fried mint leaf. Paired with vanilla ice cream garnished with fresh grapefruit. Finished with a grapefruit glaze. I DO THIS!! by @obiwanja_cobe
