Obolo freut sich über deinen Besuch ❤️ by @obolowien

The Wednesday listening sessions at @obolowien continue, and from October to December, Philoinos Collective × @45busker are taking over for three evenings with natural wine and jazz on wax.

Each evening, one grape takes the spotlight while several records take us somewhere else. We’ll be listening closely, discovering something new, tasting natural wines by the glass and mingling along the way, exploring the shape of acidity, differently.

21.10 - CHENIN’S CRESCENDO
Chenin Blanc in all its beautiful tension.

18.11 - SUPERNOVA DU •MELON DE BOURGOGNE•
Bright, saline, electric.

16.12 - ALIGOTÉ: THE FULL SPIN
The final chapter, sharp, textured, and ready for a full spin.

Philoinos Collective × 45Busker @ Obolo (Wolfgang-Schmälzl-Gasse 16, 1020 Vienna)
Save the date and we hope to see you there!

Zwergensprache Workshop – Babyzeichensprache entdecken

✔ Austausch in entspannter Atmosphäre

We've really enjoyed opening the store every Wednesday, so we're going on until May 🌟

We're incredibly grateful to the DJs who've shared some of their most valuable records, and a huge shoutout to everyone who has stopped by so far.

Every Wednesday from 16 until 20.

Eintritt frei.

Kicking off the week with some portions of Voodoocuts Dj set at our headquarter @obolowien
45 Only, what a vibe ❤️

-- FULL SET AT THE LINK IN BIO -- by @obolowien

From the 11th of February, we'll start a new adventure and we'll open OBOLO and the record store each Wednesday, from 16 until 22 🌟🌟🌟

It will be similar to our beloved Obolo Music Sessions, it will be a place where people gather to talk about music, a place where to meet new friends and share a glass of natural wine, a place where to buy and discover new and old releases on vinyl, a place where to simply listen to records.

Every Wednesday a person will be in charge of the listening session. It won't be a dj set.

It will be more like proposing music they want to share, giving each one of us the opportunity to discover something new.

The music selection will start around 18 and at 20 o clock, the "selecter" will propose a record that we'll listen from start until the end, the record of the DAY ⏺️

How does this sound?

Hopefully sounding good :-) then spread the voice and bring your energy to the place ❤️⚡

11.02 - Marlene from @urlaub_in___jazzolo

Last week we have the honor to host in Vienna a true vinyl digger, music maker, PhD & Researcher, languages lover and teacher, LA DAME!
@ladame_music
FKA Carie, our Belgium based friend Erica comes in full effect with her sunny energy, lighting up an eclectic selection that goes from middle eastern to moroccan grooves, from afro-brazilian rhythms to broken beat and everything in between.
Here are some portions of the set she recorded at our headquarter OBOLO @obolowien , after rocking the Little Beat More Party at LOOP the night before.
