NEW SERIES ALERT!! Read along the verse that we covered last night at youth group. This month we will be diving into what happens when we make mistakes, when we sin. The bible is very clear that "All sin and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) But what are we supposed to do with these failures? How does God respond to us? Last night we learned that God is waiting for us to return to Him when we sin. "If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) If we come to God those sins are no longer counted against us, they are covered by the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. by @obpc.greater.ym

TELL EVERYONE!!! This will be one of the best night fives YET!!! This Sunday from 5pm-8pm -- INVITE ALL YOUR FRIENDS

BUT it comes with a few rules... they are.. it’s anything but… fill in the blank.

1. So you need to bring an object that can hold liquid — anything but a cup. (a fish bowl, a mason jar, something - just be creative)

2. You will need to bring an object to use as a pickleball paddle — anything but a pickleball paddle. (a flipflop, a boogie board, idk your choice)

3. You can dress up for anything but my birthday (Halloween, Christmas, a dance retail… anything)

4. Optional to bring a snack but it has to be anything but a birthday cake by @obpc.greater.ym

In life we are going to face all kinds of situations that can fill us with fear. And we have the choice to choose how we respond. Will we respond with fear (what if, it will never happen, anything could go wrong) or will we respond in faith (even if, I believe God can do it, God is still in control)? God doesn’t go be us a spirit of fear, instead he fills us with power, love, and self control! When we are afraid we can put our trust in Him! taken in Open Bible Praise Center by @obpc.greater.ym
