The Nazareth Octave Distortion is back in stock and shipping worldwide! Full demo posted on the YouTube channel (link in bio) 🔊
•
A few updates from the original pedal: now featuring asymmetrical hybrid led/silicon diode clipping for increased gain and compression, true bypass relay soft switching, and the octave boost circuit is integrated into the main distortion. The octave section can be left engaged so it automatically activates whenever the Nazareth distortion is turned on (no longer a stand alone boost effect) ⛓️

Epic evening of Riff Lords and Riff Lore with @coccabal @clutchofficial @jd_pinkus at @the_orange_peel in Asheville, NC. Huge thanks to @wisebloodpjk and all of the guys for their kindness and hospitality. Hours of gear chat, getting to checkout all of Pepper and Woody’s guitars, and seeing Tim play a couple C# Clutch tunes, including Walking in the Great Shining Path of Monster Trucks, on a @woodriteguitars Switchblade HT was all pretty fucken surreal! 🖤🙌🏻🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐 by @obscuramfg

What better way to commemorate @effectiveslam than by using this @obscuramfg custom powder-coated enclosure that they so kindly gifted after the event. I present the OMEGA CHUNGUS, two Power Chungus that can run either in series or stereo (using a splitter) to make any amp beg for mercy, and any speaker spontaneously combust on sight. The powder coating and printing are super top notch! Usually I have trouble engraving into powder coat, but this was a breeze. Thanks again to @obscuramfg for this enclosure that will allow me to relive Effect Slam any time I plug it in! by @obscuramfg

Early discounted DiD Patreon Presale on now. Watch the demo, beat the rush, and snag yours today for shipping before the weekend!

At its core, Giza Dva is a JFET-based emulation of a Green Matamp GT120 preamp, now fully exposed and controllable. Gain, Bass, Treble, Presence, Depth, and Volume are no longer hidden behind the veil, they are yours to shape, from subtle preamp drive to crushing saturation.

Running alongside the Matamp engine is a parallel distortion path built from two sacred circuits: the Boss DS-1 and DOD 250. These are not stacked, they are blended, summoned together through parallel architecture, allowing massive harmonic density without sacrificing articulation or low-end authority.

The HREEM and DVAITA controls form the heart of the pedal’s philosophy:

HREEM blends the parallel DS-1 / DOD 250 distortion path into the GT120 preamp. Set to zero for classic Matamp overdrive, or increase for layered gain stages, harmonic saturation, and drone-like sustain.

DVAITA governs the DS-1 and DOD 250 within the parallel distortion path. Set fully counter-clockwise for pure DOD 250, or turn fully clockwise for pure DS-1.

Engage the ANAHATA stomp to invoke a second voice, a monolithic silicon fuzz layered onto the clean blend, adding weight, sustain, and seismic presence without smearing the signal.

With 36V of internal headroom, Giza Dva delivers authentic tube-like response, massive dynamic range, and the ability to move effortlessly from meditative drone to ritual devastation. by @obscuramfg
