OBISDIAN. Forged in volcanic fire, cooled into sharpened black glass.

Ancient hands shaped it into mirrors, blades, and portals. It was used as a tool for divination, for seeing beyond the visible. Used for healing. Used for war. Always, a bridge between worlds.

Today, that same mirror lives in our palms, in your hand right now. A sheet of polished black glass that reflects our lives and feeds our dreams. The black mirror. The portal to the subconscious. A direct line to the collective imagination.

We said we started with a pencil and here’s what that looks like.
This is Longchamp Paris Vertigo, a fully AI-driven film that began the way every great film does: with a storyboard artist and a blank page.

@marcvenafilmart and @tanikunitake drew every shot by hand before a single prompt was written. That’s the foundation Director @audreymascina and Creative Director @antontammi built on. AI followed the intent of the Storyboard Artist and reflected the vision of the Director and Creative director.

That’s the difference between a film that feels like something, and one that just looks like something. The result? A surreal cinematic dream with horses galloping across Parisian rooftops, nature overtaking architecture, and a world that couldn’t exist but feels completely true. by @obsidian.is

Samsung came to us with a brief: three first look films for 2026. No small ask.

What we help build was a symphony.

A concert hall. Decades of Samsung technology with TVs, phones, fridges, servers, all dormant in the dark. A single dancer. And the moment a Samsung AI motherboard wakes and sends threads of light across the stage, everything clicks.

This is the Samsung Symphony, a teaser of all three films debuted at CES Las Vegas 2026 as part of their first look campaign for the year ahead.
