What did you find there?โ€ - โ€œHis diary.โ€ 17 October 13:23 8ยฐC Lord tell me what do I do now? Got separated from my parents at the bus depot, I ran everywhere but couldnโ€™t find them at all, they couldnโ€™t have left without me could they?! I just saw an old man killed trying to get on a bus, I need to leave here! 17 October 15:45 I went back home, having mixed emotions, upset I lost my parents but glad I get to come back and see grandma, after yesterday seeing her cry when we told her she canโ€™t come with us, this time she cried again but happy tears, that Iโ€™ve returned. I will take care of grandma, she raised me to be strong, now I need to first find some pain killers for her headache, taking dadโ€™s pistol. I wonโ€™t leave grandma behind. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” The new Russian Government officially concluded the evacuation of Moscow after 2 months and announced the ex-capital to be abandoned. But plenty still remain in Moscow, either voluntarily or was not fortunate enough to get on the last government transports. Despite declared abandoned and uninhabitable, the government has a significant police and military presence in Moscow to maintain security amongst the populace. Gangs and scavengers tussle daily to survive, whilst dodging military personnel or risk being dealt with violence. Transport out of Moscow run by gangs allow people to leave for a better life even after the government has left them, but the safety of these transports is doubtful. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Build based on the real life Pyaterochka supermarket in Troitakaya Ulitsa, Moscow. BFVA - 2024 A collage of the amazing people that made my long trip to the US a more than worthy one! โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” After 6 years I finally returned to the Dulles Expo Center and was excitedly greeted by my Red Rocket boys, warm welcomes from everyone like seeing old classmates again after we all went our separate ways, but it was only me that missed out on 5 years of BFVA ๐Ÿ˜ฉ Meeting and seeing great new people like @its_a_jbear , @estro_legend , @legobrix141 and @samthelegoman108 , so glad to have met and finally see you all. Thank you to each and everyone of you that made this BFVA an amazingly unforgettable one, from finessing the BKM store to smashing their helmets with a hammer, and from being nominated for Best Battle Scene to furry hunting ๐Ÿ˜ญ Might be another BFVA for most but for me it was like returning to your old school and even though some people werenโ€™t there (James ๐Ÿ˜”) and much has changed since 2018, but it felt so good to finally return and it was a great escape from life, I loved every moment of this yearโ€™s BFVA. Depicted here are two scenes from a night raid into a Japanese compound by the Chinese resistance.
