OBV Studio was created from a simple idea: that a card can do so much more than mark an occasion.

It can make someone laugh, feel seen, feel remembered, or know they’re loved — even from miles away.

For me, The Joy of Cards is about bringing back that little moment of connection. The thoughtful message. The beautiful paper. The feeling of finding the card that says exactly what you meant.

That’s why I do what I do: creating cards and stationery that feel considered, joyful and just a little bit special.

Because sometimes, the smallest gesture says the most.

New paint, new prints, same old obsession with stationery. The OBV studio got a glow-up and she’s feeling herself 💅🏼 💆🏻‍♂️

I just wanted to pop on and reintroduce myself...👋🏻 hello, I'm Chris.

I've had a busy last few weeks and a bunch of new followers so, I wanted to give you a little post about OBV and me 🥰

At OBV Studio, I believe in spreading joy through the simple yet profound act of giving a hand written card. I absolutely love stationery and I’m on a mission to help others rediscover the joy in sending heartfelt cards and embrace the magic of stationery. Thank you for following along and supporting my mission ♥️

But who is OBV? Well, that would be me, Chris 🙋🏻‍♂️ I'm 33 and live on the outskirts of Glasgow. I started OBV in 2017 as a bit of fun and using it as a creative outlet, fast forward 7 years and my creative outlet has produced products that are stocked in 23 different locations all over the world 🫠

I have so many different plans for OBV but I have a tendency to procrastinate...so I'm sure you'll see the plans at some point, but until that time comes, welcome to my world 🥰 let's start spreading joy, one card at a time ♥️

What a 3 weeks 🫪 I’ve been locked out of my account and have been stressing on how the F*** to get it back, then randomly, today it lets me in.

I’m so confused 🫠

Anyway, here’s some cards that went out in the last few weeks ♥️ by @obvstudio

Well… someone had to say it. 👀

For the handsome one in your life — boyfriend, husband, partner, best mate… or simply someone who deserves the reminder. 🤍 by @obvstudio

Last month I had the absolute pleasure in helping @inmyheadkim create some packaging for her new candle to help support Brain Cancer awareness.

The candle was created by one of my favourite Scottish candle brands @houseofrothach and you can grab a candle from Kim’s website ♥️ by @obvstudio

I’ve been very MIA in August 🙈

It’s usually a quiet time for OBV where I can take a bit of time off and think of new ideas, go see some shows at the fringe and try to relax before the Christmas chaos begins and that’s exactly what I did 🥰

Some fun new cards have already appeared on my website with loads more in the works.

Hope you’re all well ♥️ by @obvstudio

🥵 a quick turnaround for this bundle of cards going to a gift shop in London ♥️
