I used to stay silent because I didn’t think I was articulate enough…
And somehow, I hid it really well.

But God saw more in me than I saw in myself.
He’s been gently teaching me,
growing me,
and helping me show up one step at a time.
Even when I don’t feel ready.

And I’m learning this:
You don’t have to feel confident to be called.
You just have to be willing.

Just a reminder:
you are chosen,
you are being equipped,
and your past doesn’t disqualify you.
If he can do it for me, he can do it for you too!

Today we celebrate 12 years of God’s faithfulness
12 years of grace holding us together, strengthening us, and carrying us through every season!

End-of-year prayer:

“Search me, O God, and know my heart.
Try me, and know my thoughts.” (Psalm 139:23)

Before I assess others,
before I carry conclusions into a new year,
Lord, let me see myself clearly.
Keep me aware of my own flaws,
my own blind spots,
my own need for grace.
I don’t want to grow loud in correction
and shallow in repentance.
Humility is the seed I’m taking into the new year.

Tis the season… but more than anything, ’tis the Reason.

With all the lights, gifts, food and excitement,
I’m reminding my heart of this truth:
Jesus is the reason for the season.
Not just a saying but a reality.

He came so that we may have life, and have it more abundantly.
A humble birth with an eternal impact.

Love arrived quietly, but changed everything.
Christmas isn’t just His birth story.
It’s the story of what His birth made possible :
salvation, restoration, joy, peace, identity, and true life.
So yes, I love the season…
but my heart rests in the Reason-
the One who came so we could truly live.
