✨ SCIENCE NIGHT 2026 ♻️👕 ✨ Grateful for our Fashion Club and our small but mighty group of @occfashion volunteers who welcomed our local community to learn about the importance of upcycling, creativity, and sustainability! 🌎💚 It was so much fun watching the next generation of designers bring their ideas to life by creating their own upcycled T-shirts and tote bags — perfect for groceries, everyday adventures, or collecting Halloween candy! 🎃🛍️ One of the best parts? Seeing creativity, community, and sustainability come together through a hands-on experience. And what a great way to give back to our community while inspiring the next generation to think differently about fashion and waste! ✨ Fashion Merchandising in the Real World! ✨ Our FASH 177 Fashion Merchandising students stepped outside the classroom for an inspiring field trip to The LAB Anti-Mall in Costa Mesa! 🛍️ Students had the incredible opportunity to hear directly from Linda Sadeghi, owner of The LAB, and learn about entrepreneurship, retail, the past, present, and future of creating a unique shopping destination, and what it takes to build a successful retail business in the fashion industry. The day continued with store visits to SAD Eyewear and Landers Supply House, giving students a behind-the-scenes look at independent retail, merchandising, branding, and the unique customer experiences that make these businesses stand out. We love getting our students out into the industry to see it, experience it, and learn from the people making it happen! 👏 Thank you to Linda Sadeghi and our industry partners for sharing your time, knowledge, and experience with the students who wanna work for you one day!
