This landmark decision, driven by Pacific Island youth and backed by 97 nations, confirms what we’ve always known: a healthy ocean = a livable future.

We’re heading to Singapore! 🇸🇬🌊

As a member of the 1000 Ocean Startups coalition since 2023, Ocean Community is looking forward to joining the 4th Annual Gathering in Singapore this September. Representing Ocean Community will be Susanne Wedin-Schildt, Founder and President, together with Rimmie Duraisamy, OC Innovate Program Director, and our new Nordic Chair, Cecilia Hjertzell.

Under the theme “The Next Wave: Scaling Ocean Innovation,” the gathering will bring together founders, investors, industry leaders and ecosystem builders from across the global ocean innovation community.
We’ll be bringing perspectives from Ocean Community Sweden: our Nordic Innovation Gateway, together with the broader global programmes, partnerships and reach anchored through Ocean Community Lisbon.

We’re looking forward to strengthening existing relationships, building new ones, and exploring collaboration around ocean innovation, ecosystem creation and scaling pathways.
