Every year, these incredible mothers leave the icy waters of Antarctica and begin one of the longest migrations on Earth. Beside her is a young calf, learning to navigate powerful swells and the endless ocean on their journey north along Australia’s east coast toward the warmer waters of North Queensland.

Even in rough seas, a mother’s instinct never wavers. Every breath, every wave, every kilometre together. 💙🐋
