I hand-collected this genuine brown sea glass right on Portishead Beach and turned it into a sterling silver necklace for Ocean Found Treasures 🌊✨
Every piece of sea glass I use is naturally tumbled and shaped by the sea and rocks over decades, meaning no two pieces are ever the same. I love that it gives everyday jewellery a real story behind it 🐚
It comes beautifully presented on a card and carefully packaged, making it ideal if you’re an ocean lover or looking for an eco-conscious treat.
You can find this exact piece over on my Etsy shop or just click the link in my bio to browse everything available! 🛒✨

Never judge a black beach pebble by its surface. Beneath decades of ocean wear lies thick 18th-century vessel glass, #oceanfoundtreasures #seaglass #beachcombing #seaglasslove #pirateglass by @oceanfoundtreasures

Did you know that soft seafoam colour usually comes from vintage UK pop and mineral water bottles? The pale green tint was created by natural iron impurities in the sand used by older British glassworks. Because manufacturers switched away from glass decades ago, these pieces are getting harder and harder to find. #oceanfoundtreasures #seafoamgreenseaglass #beachcombing #mermaidtears #seaglass by @oceanfoundtreasures

Finding a rare piece of pirate sea glass always feels like a tiny piece of ocean magic. A little reminder today that no matter how long something takes to find its place, it’s worth the wait. ✨🏴‍☠️🌊 #oceanfoundtreasures #seaglass #beachcombing #pirateglass #seaglasslove by @oceanfoundtreasures

I’m usually 100% focused on finding sea glass, but I couldn’t resist admiring this stunning cone shell. Nothing beats that instant hit of dopamine when a unique shore find catches your eye! Tucked it safely back on the shore for the next person to enjoy. 🌊 #beachcombing #seaglassaddict #takephotosleavenothing #shorelinefinds #oceanfoundtreasures by @oceanfoundtreasures

I’ll have to be 100% honest with you even though these pieces are gorgeous I was disappointed with Rhodes town beach. The videos that I’ve seen of the sea class that people found was not what we came across. Maybe we were just there on the wrong day. Who Knows. #oceanfoundtreasures #seaglass #beachcombing #seaglasshunting #Rhodes by @oceanfoundtreasures
