A lifetime of waiting.
A life time of work.
Slowly watching a lifetime unfold.
Passion and desire.
Never stopping. Never giving up.
Then it’s finally here.
Because we never gave up.
We just kept on the grind.
Because it’s all we have.
The grind.
And then all of a sudden.
We are all Campeones.

Sometimes…
Sometimes I need to be alone.
Sometimes there is a place in my mind where I think.
Sometimes I can’t get out of my mind.
Sometimes I just need to drink.
Sometimes I wonder.
Sometimes I get it done.
Sometimes I’m happy. Most times I’m not.
Sometimes I want to go to work.
Most times I just have to.
Sometimes I want to rhyme, most times I don’t make the time.
And in the end.
I don’t have the time to give a Fuck.

The power of the press.
Once mentioned by Johannes Gutenberg.
And he was right.
Especially when pressmen get their press running tight.
Then the press needs to be replaced.
After we ran the shit out of that press.
End of life of that press.
Especially when I spent so many nights on that press.
A sweet press. The LS.
That sweet press… Gave me Power…
A power I never owned…
I ran the shit out of that Lithrone…

I shall focus on thy proof.
Not because it’s my job.
But more because I have something to prove.
Yet, there is nothing left for me to prove.
Lest this proof.
They are dying for,
Pining for.
I will focus on thy proof.
And not fuck it up.
Or I might have fucked it all up.
So I shall focus.
Until I can prove it.
To the world.

When you think one thing was real.
But it never really was.
When you think you found the answer.
But it never had a cause.
When I thought I had found hope.
Then that hope had left me broke.
I will never be the same.
I had woken up and given up.
I had gotten sicken of the game.
I tried so hard,
I found no rest.
Now I need to leave.

Mastery.
Everything I’ve done has been unproven.
Until I proofed it.
I haven’t yet been able to prove it.
But I will.
I found and finally know my purpose.
There will come a day that I will show.
My life to become a crescendo.
It will never be shallow.
It will be dark from the shadows.
It will be loud.
It may draw a crowd.
Because it’s what it’s all about.
Mastery.
In mystery.

Because he’s The Master of the Playing Cards and no one knows his name. He’s engraved the plates and brought them, yet no one knows his game. He walked through the mud.
He stalked through the mist.
And when he was gone, he was never even missed.
When his engravings got delivered and when they got to press.
He was known to leave an impression that no one would ever miss.

It’s a curse because it makes me believe in me.
That vision isn’t ever forgotten. I can work on it.
Even though I’m pretending I’m not.
That thought is always there.
Not going anywhere.
Being werked on somewhere. And when they see it.
They will see…
The vision is passion….

When it just doesn’t make sense.
All this shit.
Why can’t it ever get easier…?
No matter how hard I try.
Why can’t it make sense?
No matter how dare I look?
No matter how hard I try to see…
My reality.
It’s just not there.
Anymore.
My reality never held on.
As long as I do.
As long as I could have.
My reality was never there for thee.
I never held on for…
Me.

When two integral parts come together. Those parts shouldn’t be separated. When two machines come together, it’s beautiful. When no cog is greater than the other, that is when werk starts…

Almost home.
Almost home and I stopped to see my homies.
A sunset in the back,
Who could blame me.
Almost home and stop to snap.
Almost home and it’s just that.
We are almost home, where we all want to be.
No more work, stress, or chasing…
That unattainable dream.
Just home.

Why do I always use a cover sheet?
What am I trying to hide?
Is my work translucent?
Am I transparent?
Am I opaque?
Am I see through and lonely.
Am I drifting though this life alone and missing my mom.
Does searching for answers cause me rage?
Or do I just need to talk to my mom.
