Now that I am a little older, I feel like I am finally starting to understand how special life was and how precious lifelong friendships are. It’s a gift that not everyone is granted in life. One of the many gifts of growing up in small/rural towns.
Recently, a Lisa Loeb song came on the radio while we were in the car and the boys started making fun of it, saying how no one likes that music. I was instantly so mad and tears welled up in my eyes. They had no idea that would hurt me or understand that Music is one of the few things that allows Janna’s memory to stay alive.
16 years and I MISS you.
The long winded phone calls as we sit in traffic, excitement over a new Barbie you want to see in person, understanding my need for tactile learning, decorating for Christmas. All of it.
Today I am sitting and listening to all the 90’s music I can handle or at least until a kid begs me to turn it off.
Thank You Jesus for the Hope of Heaven.

10 years of homeschooling went by so much faster than I could ever imagined.
Every tear that we shed, every hard day that we didn’t think we could make through, it was all worth it and I would do it a million times over.
It’s been an absolute honor having this boy by my side as we have walked years of unknown paths. He is unshakable and confident. He knows who he is and leads others well. He makes my heart burst with pride because he is so full of goodness.
Bravery Ash, you have pushed us past limits we didn’t know we could take and are becoming the man I always knew you would be. I am so grateful for the gift of You!

20 years of being SOBER!!!!!
7,300 days of Choosing You, Choosing Me, Choosing Us OVER choosing alcohol.
Paul, your ability to remain strong for all of these years is exactly who you are. Faithful, dedicated and willing to go the distance for greatness.
I’m so proud of you and proud of the incredible example you have chosen to set for our kids.

God is Moving through His people here in Southern California!!
We didn’t leave for a reason. God isn’t finished with this beautiful state.
@movementsandiego crushed it again.
What an incredible feeling to worship Jesus with so many other local believes. We are not alone and we are strong in number!

Happy 70th Birthday!

There are a lot of bad moms out there, BUT she ain’t one of them!
So much fruit has been produced from her steadfast Love, selfless ambition, guidance and unwavering faith in Jesus. I will Forever be thankful to be raised by such an incredible woman and only hope my kids will say the same about me.

Christmas wish come true.
Tears of joy, tears of sorrow. We have faced some extreme Highs and extreme lows. Beyond thankful for a decade of friendship with these friends.

It’s been a month since we all spent the day together! It was such a lovely & encouraging day. We hope you left feeling inspired. So many connections were made & so much was learned about giving our children an education made just for them ❤️
