Sometimes, we don’t realise just how much we have changed until we look back.

For this year’s International Youth Day, we reached out to a few young people and asked them a simple question: What did success mean to you five years ago, and what does it mean now?

And their answers were a beautiful reminder that growth doesn’t always announce itself.

The things that once felt urgent have made way for needs they didn’t even know they had five years ago. Some got more serious, some learnt to value peace, family and contentment. And for some, the definition hasn’t changed much at all. They’ve simply grown into it.

Five years can change a lot. Sometimes, it changes what we want. Sometimes, it changes what we value. And sometimes, it simply helps us understand that what we have been chasing all along still matters.

We hope you enjoy taking this little journey with them and that, somewhere along the way, it puts a smile on your face.
