I spent the morning with Sydney at the Oregon City Festival of the Arts and WOW- my creative heart is full. They’re open until 4, so if you need a little inspiration boost, go wander through, grab lunch, listen to music, and meet the artists who make this community shine. It was so fun seeing @aworkofheartstudio Andrea welcoming us at the front entrance - gave her a big hug.

I left with dog goodies from @chasin_tail4, a hydrangea‑and‑resin necklace for Sydney’s senior pics from @recollectedpiecesjewelry, a pottery bowl that feels exactly like the ones my mom used to collect (apparently I’ve reached that era of life) from Longfellow Pottery, and a tiny blue pottery flower for my garden with a sparkly center that I’m obsessed with from @southboundceramics. Loved seeing @cathyroweart and can’t wait for our paint by number restock! You all love them!

Parking was easy, the silent auction is amazing (and still going, plus you don’t have to be present to win), and the whole event is overflowing with talent — far more than I could ever tag or shout out.

Huge love to Three Rivers Art Guild @threeriversartistguild and the City of Oregon City @cityoforegoncity for putting on such a beautiful festival. First time attending, definitely not the last @ocfota.

If you want to ride the creative wave, come up to māk — I’m here until 6 today and back Wednesday 11–6. Bring your artistic vibes and let’s make something.
