Words can’t express how thankful I am that Jesus came and chose to give a sinner like me shot at seeing him one day. Love y’all Ik it was a little lengthy but maybe y’all can get something from it. taken in Scottsboro, Alabama by @ocho.lando

Man. Thank you Father God for this game called football.
Thank you to my family for never missing a game and always supporting my dreams. Thank you to all the boys who I got to practice and play with throughout the years. Thank you to the coaches who pushed me and taught me. Thank you to all people who watched and enjoyed the ball I got to play. Looking back I wish I put in more and accomplished more, but God’s will is so far ahead of mine. I’ve trusted him through highs and lows and it sure has paid off. That being said, God willing, I ain’t nowhere near done with this game. 8 out. For now…. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Made me think of a quote that stuck with me. “You don’t get clean to come to Jesus. You come to Jesus to get clean.” We all fall short. We all get muddy and stained by our sin, but God’s love washes us spotless. God’s forgiveness doesn’t “run out”. taken in Pisgah, Alabama by @ocho.lando
