Hi Folks! OCMB uses Meetup as one of our organizing platforms. We also have subscriptions for Strava, MTB Project, Trailforks and onX Hunt for the group, and a Facebook monthly to cover the Facebook group plan. This is several hundred dollars per year. 🚵 FAMILY FUN ON THE 10-MILE ROUTE! 🚵 You don’t have to be an experienced mountain biker to be part of the Good Dirt Ride. Our 10-mile route gives active novice riders, younger riders and families a chance to get out on the trails and experience the Good Dirt Ride together. Just check out some of the kids, parents and other 10-mile riders from previous Good Dirt Rides in this video! 😁 🚵 10-MILE RIDE ⏰ Starts at 9:30 AM ⏱️ Typical ride time: About 2 hours ⛰️ Approximately 400 feet of climbing 👍 Suitable for active novice to intermediate riders Starting from Applied Medical in Rancho Santa Margarita, riders will make their way to the Tijeras Creek and Arroyo Trabuco trails before heading south on Arroyo Trabuco to the turnaround at approximately 4.5 miles. There will be some hills, rocks and streams along the way. It is mountain biking, after all! But this route is about getting outside, having fun and giving younger and newer riders a chance to experience the trails. Saturday, September 19 we returned to Maple Springs/Four Corners for our fifth clean up this year. The party litter at the pullouts and Four Corners is just the tip of the iceberg, unfortunately. There is illegal dumping that occurs in the forest. We found and cleaned up one site the best we could. We hauled about two truck loads of trash out of the forest, a lot from this one site. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to make the forest better for us all. It felt good making an impact and enjoying the riding together. A big thank you to Trail’s End Cycling Center for returning as a sponsor of the 2026 Good Dirt Ride! 🚵 Trail’s End has been a longtime supporter of the ride and our cycling community, and they’re stepping up again this year as a Silver Sponsor.
