On the day this aired- on the first day of the last decade of the entire 20th century- is was watching this live in my childhood bedroom at my parents just after a big breakup and just before I met Diego and I was in my room all alone in the dark watching favorite tv show DESIGNING WOMEN and Dolly was on and made me feel better just seeing her, I remember how watching her cheered me up, people saw that they won’t remember this or that about you when you’re gone but they’ll remember how you made them feel 🤍 Dolly always made me feel great either on tv or in a movie or hearing her music - always kind and very talented

I hope life treats you kind
And I hope you have all you’ve dreamed of
And I wish you joy and happiness
But above all this, I wish you love by @ocricky1010
