Meet the alumni making mentorship happen!

The 8th cohort of the OCU Alumni Mentor Program is officially underway, and we’re grateful for the alumni who said “yes” to investing in a current OCU student. Over the next three months, these mentors will connect one-on-one with students to offer guidance and help them navigate what comes next.

Thank you to our alumni mentors for continuing to show up for the next generation! ⭐️ by @ocu_alumni

Say cheese! 📸 Regan Shorter is a 2015 OCU alumna with a BBA in Marketing.

A photographer and content creator based in North Texas and Puerto Rico, she kicked off October by hosting an official walk for Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk—her 3rd year hosting with Adobe! Her group explored historic San Juan through a “color hunt” before gathering at a café to edit photos and connect.

Her work with Adobe also took her to its San Francisco offices in 2025 to preview Photoshop Mobile before its public launch. Having used Adobe’s tools since getting her first camera, she described the opportunity to work with the company as “a very big honor.”

We are excited to shine a spotlight on Erin McCoy ’16! ⭐ Erin graduated from @oklahomacityuniversity with a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology and was a member of the Flute Choir and Philharmonic Symphony during her time as a student.

Today, Erin is continuing to make an impact as an Attending Physician in Pediatric Neurology at OU Health and as a member of the OU School of Medicine faculty. Her journey is a wonderful example of the impact OCU alumni are making in their communities!
