This video is driven by sound.
The pacing, movement, and progression are all shaped by the sound design.

Huge thanks to @ocular.sounds for the incredible audio textures. by @ocular.sounds

Sound is what connects us to the world

I’ve always found that sound design is one of the most powerful tools you can use to immerse your audience in a video. Over the last few years, I’ve used Ocular Sounds for the majority of my sound design, and I can honestly say they have some of the highest-quality and most unique sound effects out there.

A look inside the sound design behind our latest film.
Sound design breakdown with @ocular.sounds 🤝 by @ocular.sounds

It’s something we don’t always notice.

But we live in a world surrounded by it.
When you’re editing a video, sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest difference.

Sound design is one of those changes.
Even just adding a few layers of ambience can take something from simply being a video to actually feeling like an experience.
As always, all sound effects are from the insane library over at Ocular Sounds. Big thanks to all the homies who helped film this one 🙌🏽

Sound is half the edit 🤝🏼 by @ocular.sounds

A succession of scientific experiments, liquid mixtures and ink explosions, all filmed in macro, right up close to the material.

Shapes appear, transform, merge and disappear in an almost hypnotic motion.

For the sound design, I had the pleasure of collaborating with @ocular.sounds , using sounds from their sound library.

🎧 For the best immersive experience, I highly recommend watching this Reel with headphones or earphones.

What does it inspire in you?

Nobody talks about sound design enough 🎶
On this film we layered in clicks, whooshes, ambiences, and all the small stuff that makes a shot feel real instead of just look real.
Every single sound of this reel was created with the “Full Access Bundle” from @ocular.sounds - a game changer for creators. by @ocular.sounds

Editor Series : @officialjohor Realm of 12 event highlights

Got an opportunity to edit this highlight video thanks to @taqihunterz @forilsa and @lakoo.my . Had so much fun editing this. It’s been a while since I last edited an event video. Also crazy enough to have edited some moments of @50cent on stage (insane).

Sfx mostly done with a bundle that i got from @ocular.sounds . They really have some insane amount of curated sfx that’s so useful for my workflow.

Working on more editing projects soon and I’ll be posting my other works as well. Grind szn🦅 by @ocular.sounds
