Most of the time when I’m in different countries, I’m working—whether it’s with teams, travel agencies, or other groups. The frustrating part is that I can only share about 5% of what I actually do due to the companies I work with. That being said, working with these organizations has taught me so much about filmmaking and photography. While I had very little time to capture my own personal shots in India, I did my best to take in as much as I could so I could share at least a small glimpse of what I experienced with all of you.

Social media has become so oversaturated, volatile, and downright distracting that it often makes me question whether I should post at all. But the reason I still do is because of the incredible people I’ve met along the way—the ones who tell me that my posts bring them joy. That truly means a lot to me.

That being said, I’m taking a break from industry and travel work for a while to focus on creating longer-form content—my own documentaries, experiences, and travels—which I’ll be sharing on my website and YouTube channel. I believe this break will give me more time to film and edit my own stories rather than someone else’s. This transition may take some time, as I’ve never been the type to prioritize quantity or chase virality. What matters most to me is quality, storytelling, and attention to detail in everything I create.

Doing what I did here was hard… Opening up and being completely honest about it all will be even harder. But no matter what we do in this life, we will be judged regardless. If you’re curious, stick around. If it’s not for you and you can’t handle it, leave. We all have different paths we walk on in this very strange thing we call life.

I’ve found movement in general to be incredibly therapeutic.

Over the years, pushing deeper into strength, flexibility, mobility, and learning what my body is capable of has become just as important for my mental health as it is for my physical health.

Working on yourself is a slow process, but it’s worth it. You can learn so much about yourself along the way limits, discipline, your patience, and what you’re actually capable of.

Some of the biggest changes I’ve noticed:

• Better self-esteem and confidence
• More mental clarity
• More motivation and discipline
• A stronger, more capable body with healthier joints
• More energy and endurance… including in my sex life 😂 (celibate for the time being though… which is ironic because the healthier I’ve gotten the higher my sex drive 🤦🏾‍♂️🫠)
• Taking better care of my health and relying less on medical intervention

There’s something really fulfilling about realizing that the work you put into your body carries over into almost every other part of your life.

Still a work in progress… always will be and I think that’s the point.

This isn’t usually the kind of video I post, but I’m honestly too excited not to share it.

My hair has been one of my biggest frustrations for most of my life. Having 4C hair meant I spent years feeling like it never grew because the shrinkage hid so much of its length. It was hard watching people with shorter hair have it look longer than mine. I realize I just had a lot to learn about how to properly care for it and be patient with the process.

Most people still don’t realize how long my hair actually is because of the shrinkage… not even hair stylist before they start touching it, but I haven’t cut the hair on top of my head in years. Seeing it finally reach a point I’ve worked toward for so long is a pretty cool :3

I’m always trying to improve myself whether it’s my hair, my body, or my mind.

Just to be clear, almost all of this is my natural hair. I only added a small amount of extension hair to help protect the ends.

Growth takes time, but it’s worth it.

I’ve spent most of my 20s outside the country I was born in. Living and working alongside so many different cultures has fundamentally changed the way I see the world, the way I interpret things, and even how I see myself.

These are a few clips from Peru, taken while filming a documentary I’ve been quietly working on. It’s a deeply personal project, and I’m still building up the courage to talk about it and about everything else I’ve experienced over the past eight, almost nine, years.
