On Friday, December 10 at 2:00-3:30 in LRH, Armando Rivera of the Salsa Shakers will be doing a workshop on Latin music styles in anticipation of our spring production of “In The Heights.”

Armando will explore various styles of Latin music, including Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and Dominican as well as explain how percussion instruments are used within each style, how to properly practice and perform on these instruments, AND he will lead us in live play-alongs. You don’t want to miss this!

ALL Bass School students are encouraged to attend. This clinic is completely free, and we hope to see you there! For questions, contact @tommy.dobbs or @mhmailman

Our November 6th concert featuring Mahler’s 2nd symphony is drawing near! Mahler’s music is a juxtaposition of strength and tenderness. His music invokes the trepidations and beauty of life and the human experience. Tune in on Nov. 6th as Guest Conductor Larry Livingston takes us along on this journey!
