Okay, this one gave me goosebumps.

Back in 1851, Parisians got an invitation that said: “Come watch the world turn.” And people actually showed up. A physicist, Léon Foucault hung a brass ball from a 67m cable right here under the Panthéon’s dome, just to prove the Earth spins. No fancy tech, just a pendulum swinging while the floor slowly moved beneath it.

The plot twist? It only lasted a few months, because Bonaparte’s coup in December 1851 shut the whole thing down.

The original now lives in a glass case at the Musée des Arts et Métiers, and a new one has been swinging here since 1995.

Still can’t believe I got to see the real masterpiece by Jacques-Louis David at the Louvre!

Napoleon’s Coronation, the moment Napoleon crowned himself Emperor, with the Pope there as a witness rather than the one placing the crown on his head.

Standing in front of a painting that captures such a powerful moment in history feels completely different from seeing it in a book or on a screen.

Grateful to witness history in its original form. 🇫🇷

Ada sesuatu yang indah tentang bagaimana pohon-pohon tumbuh berdampingan, saling mencapai langit, namun tidak pernah benar-benar memaksakan rantingnya untuk bertemu atau dalam bahasa kerennya “Crown Shyness.”

Mereka menyisakan ruang.

Bukan karena mereka jauh, tetapi karena mereka tahu bahwa keseimbangan juga membutuhkan batas.

Mungkin manusia juga begitu.

Kita bertemu, tumbuh, saling memengaruhi, lalu memberi ruang agar masing-masing tetap menjadi dirinya sendiri.

Dulu aku pikir hidup hanyalah rangkaian coincidences. orang-orang yang datang secara kebetulan, pertemuan yang terjadi tanpa alasan, dan jalan yang kita lalui karena keadaan.

Sampai aku bertemu seseorang yang berkata bahwa mungkin sebagian besar dari hidup ini bukan sekadar kebetulan.

Mungkin ada hal-hal yang memang sudah menemukan jalannya sendiri.
Aku tidak tahu apakah itu coincidence, probability, atau fate.

Tapi mungkin, seperti pohon-pohon di atas sana, tidak semua keadaan harus dipahami.

Outing with the alumni of RS Sumber Waras Grogol. 🥂

Glad to meet these unique hoomans, each blessed with their own special abilities: throwing Jasjus into the swimming pool, somehow breaking the billiard table, or hitting the pickleball so hard that we spent more time looking for the ball than actually playing. 😂

Short time, random people, absolute chaos, but somehow, meaningful.

No idea where we’ll meet again… or if we ever will. But hey, at least we have videos to prove we weren’t just hallucinating.

Full throttle through the streets that raised me.

South Jakarta has been my first home since I was born. I’ve seen it in every version of myself, the kid with dreams, the man who got lost, the friend who stayed, the one who left, and the one who always found his way back.

There are good memories here. Bad ones too. Friendships, untold stories, stupid decisions, quiet victories, suffering, laughter, pain, and chapters I’ll probably never tell anyone about.

Every road carries a memory. Every corner knows a different version of me.
So before I leave, let me ride through it all one more time.
Maybe this city still has one more chance for me, a new chapter, another reason to stay and fight.
And if that door doesn’t open, then perhaps this is my final ride here.
I’ll take everything this city gave me, leave the rest behind, and move for good.
No regrets.
No looking back.
Just one last ride through the place that made me.
