A huge thank-you to the Los Angeles Rams for inviting our South OC Wave eighth graders to play flag football at SoFi Stadium during HALFTIME!🏈🐏

Taking the field inside the Rams’ home stadium was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, one these girls will remember forever. From the moment they arrived until the final whistle, they were smiling, laughing, competing, and soaking in every second. They had an absolute blast!

We had so much fun playing our friends @roulaflag 🔥

We are incredibly grateful to the Rams organization for continuing to support girls’ flag football and for creating unforgettable experiences that inspire the next generation of female athletes. Thank you for giving our girls such a special day and memories that will last a lifetime! 💙💛🌊

No, it wasn’t the ending we hoped for—but we couldn’t be more proud of this team for fighting until the final whistle. 💪🌊 This group came together just this year and never once had a full roster at any tournament… and still went head-to-head with teams that have played together for years. That says everything about their heart. Top 8 in the nation!

We’re beyond excited for what OC Wave is building, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for next season. To our seniors—thank you. We’re wishing you the best in your next chapter and hope to see flag football continue to grow at the collegiate level. 🏈💙

Faithful to the Bay! Congrats to our High School team who qualified for the @nflflag nationals in July 2025 after winning the @49ers regional. PT 2: 12U Black plays This or That: Football Edition! 🏈🌊

Can you tell we have a lot of fun? At Wave, we work hard and focus on fundamentals, but we also want every player to love being here. The friendships and laughs are part of what makes a team.

We want our girls to feel connected across Wave, not just within their own team. Every coach should know every player’s name, and questions like these help us get to know the girls beyond football. 💙

Part 1: 12U Blue plays This or That: Football Edition! 🏈🌊

Can you tell we have a lot of fun? At Wave, we work hard and build strong fundamentals, but having fun matters just as much. If a player isn’t enjoying the sport, something isn’t right.

We want our girls to feel part of a community, make friends beyond practice, and know that every coach sees them, no matter which team they play on. Even a quick game of This or That helps us get to know them better. 💙

Our 12U Black player Blake Gerryts met up with Coach Sydney to watch some football! At Wave, we encourage our athletes to learn from the game wherever they can. Our 12U Black team even has an NFL fantasy league to keep the football conversations going all season.
