When Odaro Eguavoen joined GameUp Africa, he wasn’t sure where game development would take him.

We’re proud to announce that HUSH is an Official Selection at the 2026 All Africans Indie Film Festival (AAIFF).

HUSH tells the moving story of Ovie, a deaf young man blessed with extraordinary healing abilities, who finds himself torn between the future he dreams of and the community that depends on him.

Through its heartfelt storytelling and emotional honesty, HUSH reminds us of the courage it takes to choose our own path.

As part of our international partnership, HUSH will also receive an Official Selection at the Brixton Film Festival, United Kingdom, with more details to be announced soon.

My new project from the Obodo Artist Fund 2025 is finally being showcased in 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙨𝙞𝙨 — a 2-week exhibition featuring my work alongside fellow OAF artists.

I joined this fund/residency just a couple of months into my filmmaking journey, and it has truly set the bar for what a supportive art/film residency should look like.

I can't wait for you all to see what I've been working on 🟨🟪

Your boy did it again!!! 😁✨️

Earlier this year, I was selected as one of the screenwriters for British Council's FilmLab. I learnt so much and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to grow as a writer. The knowledge and reassurance I received was irreplaceable.

I would like to thank @ngbritisharts @britishcouncil @iconicsteps @ebonylifecreativeacademy for facilitating such an amazing first phase of the programme.

Special thanks to @mrxavierighorodje and @thegardentheatre for leading the classes, as well as @uwadokauloma for keeping us all on track.
