Botanical Beasties Art Challenge!
First prompt - Deer + Dahlias.
I call it Dahlia Forest.

I'm a day late, but it's better to be on time for my freelance work, hehehe...

By day I design and develop table top games and greeting cards. I illustrate and design for other people, and its great, but these challenges help me sit and explore things that don't need to be what everyone else wants, what buyers are looking for, what customers can understand, what makes sense. Boo to the norm and Yay to the nonsensical!

I love this piece, but a small part of me wants to be a bit crazier. Maybe I'll have time to do it, maybe not, but I love seeing what comes out of everyone's imagination...it's beautiful. Thank you for the artists hosting this, and thank you too everyone who shows up here and bravely posts their work. What a great community!

Draw seamless patterns in Procreate! Lots of great stuff to learn!

I didn't show the repeat too much because I need to play with it, but i learned a lot and I'm excited to make patterns directly in Procreate. But, I will definitely feel more comfortable planning out the patterns first a little more.

Sometimes I like to take a class on @skillshare because I'll complete something pretty quickly.

Today I took another great @catcoq class - Draw Animals in Procreate. And ta-da! A composition i probably would never do on my own. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make this a bit twisted, but there's always tomorrow!
