✨️ DRACHENFEST 2026: THE FINAL BATTLE ✨️

Happy October! It's spoopy season which is my FAVORITE time of year. Got some new photos in from @gamergurl_photos from Drachenfest of my character, Elora Orlane, looking dramatic on the battlefield!

These photos are from the final day of a loooong week back in June. My character had just died, so had no real idea if this dramatic final battle was even real to her or not. Hence why she fought for Shadow Camp and why she looks a little more dramatic than usual. My hair looks weirdly good in this?!?!

Meet Jamie "Bolt" Bolton. ⚡️

Child experiment whose body is slowly succumbing to the effects of radiation. They're surprised that they've made it this long - maybe being the niece of Dr. Hooke of Hooke Labs gets you somewhere. Others can tell something's wrong, as Jamie practically looks like a corpse day to day.

The scientist who took care of them as a child finally believes they have a way to fix it, but it goes terribly awry. The eldritch goddess, Aletheia, saved their body but turned them into a horrifying creature. Will they finally get the respect they deserve?

The story of Bolt at @reveriestudiosllc 's Neon Void was probably one of the angstiest stories I've told to date. I made the character with this in mind. Bolt's story of disability rights, fighting for acceptance, and found family really hit hard, but in all the best ways. Swipe for some of the story.

✨️kinda chic: cosplay edition✨️

So remember when I used to cosplay? Yeah, that era might be coming back because I snagged a MAGFest ticket! I have zero idea if I'll be making anything new but I'll definitely be bringing back some favorites (Goodress, anyone?)! Am tempted to swing by Silver Scream for a night as well...

✨️kinda chic: LARP edition✨️

This trend went around a little bit ago and I loved it, so here are some of the things in the LARP community that I love and think are suuuuper healthy and cool.

If you've been here a while, you know that I spent so long in the cosplay community feeling unsatisfied and like I had to keep up with trends, but I learned that I can make whatever the heck I want and be so much happier. Be cringe! Be free! Be yourself!

And also be a terrifying creature...more to come on that. 😉

🗡 HOURS DREADFUL and THINGS STRANGE🩸

At Summer Larpin', I got to play one of my all-time dream roles - Lady Macbeth! This game was a nonverbal dance larp, which means all the emotions, expression and plot are told through dance rather than speech. It's also inspired by Sleep No More as well as Macbeth, and now it has me back in my immersive theater funk. I've always wanted to do more immersive theater, so maybe that's an adventure on the horizon!

Lady Macbeth, after helping her husband murder Duncan, had a crazy plot where a coven of witches completely consumed her and drove her mad with grief over the death of her husband. I remember exiting the LARP and immediately feeling like wow, that was so good.

Also, I have a new favorite thrift shop dress. I want to try to post here more often, so let me know if you have any suggestions!

🌌 Kaecilius...in the void! 🌌

Hello Instagram! I'm alive, but have been very busy! After my first Drachenfest, I have had a different big LARP event every two weeks, and smaller LARP events in between the big ones. I think I am definitely running out of steam, but I'm trying my best!

At Summer Larpin', I had the chance to play Kaecilius in another @mayhawk20 LARP called Marvel vs. Capcom: In The Void. I may or may not have persuaded him very heavily to put Kaecilius in the game just for me, but I had a great time! Everyone was blown away by my costuming and dedication to the character. I'll be posting more highlights from LARPland soon - including debuting my first solo written parlor LARP!

⚔️ ODD @ DRACHENFEST 🗡

Long time no post! I've been in a super transitional state where I've been migrating to a new job, ironing out some health struggles and getting my motivation back up. But I'm still here, and I've got some fun news -

I'll be at @drachenfest.us this year! Here are two corsets I've sewn for my character, Elora Orlane. She's the daughter of a court sorceress whose school got burnt down by dragons while she was studying, so during her time in the Drachenlands, she's trying to overcome her fear of dragons and fire. She's currently working with a weapons dealer as a saleswoman and enchantress.

I won't lie, I'm a bit nervous as this is probably the most intense LARP I've done so far, but I've got some friends to support me. I'll be at the Bazaar near the LARPBox booth, so come say hi if you're there! ❤️

〰️ the great red dragon 〰️

It's Mental Health Awareness week, so of course I'm posting Francis Dolarhyde. Life has been challenging. While Francis has this terrifying voice in his head representing anger, or dominance, or coaxing him to do utterly terrible things, I have a different emotion that takes hold sometimes. A deep wave of sadness and guilt. A feeling that suggests that I won't make it anywhere or I'm not good for anything. If Francis has the Dragon, I have the lady of the lake or something, I guess. It makes it hard for me to find motivation in daily life or to do the things I love - even like this shoot.

Mental health is important. I've been trying to tackle mine lately through journaling, therapy, and getting back into exercising, all of which have definitely helped. Be kind to yourself. ❤️

These photos are from a home photoshoot I did about a week ago where it was just me, my camera, and some lights. I'm proud of the results and how you can see the dynamic between scared, quiet Francis, and the Great Red Dragon which quickly consumes him. I finished reading the book before I did this shoot which I think served as a huge inspiration. These are just a few of my favorites- more to come?

✨️"...and the stars look very different today."✨️

Yeah, that's right, I saved the best Eclipse photos for last. Between Project Hail Mary and the Artemis II, I've been feeling a space revival. It just throws me back to September of last year where I had the chance to tell this beautiful story. 🧡

My April has been crazy, and not in a good way. Between car troubles and a minor concussion, I've been struggling to find stability and motivation to work on new stuff. I think I just have to take it slow and be patient with myself.

I've also realized that I'd love to start getting back to conventions - anyone have any recommendations? I have one LARP thing then am free for most of the summer.

🥚 Happy Easter! Here's some snaps from Pandaemonium where I was a bunny. Okay, well, not a bunny, more of a jackalope. Because jackalopes aren't real cryptids, they're a hoax, and are therefore BUSTED! 🐇 Haha, get it, Ghostbusters?

What're everyone's next events looking like? I've been wanting to get back into cosplay, or at the very least get back to hanging out with friends! I have so many costumes and no place to wear them out.
