If you just found us, hi! We're Odd Bunch 👋🏻 We started in 2022 in London, Ontario with one question - why is so much good food going to waste while millions of Canadians can't afford fresh produce? Turns out, the grocery system is broken. 40 million metric tonnes of perfectly good food is wasted every year in Canada, and a lot of it never makes it to the shelf. We decided to fix that. We work with Canadian farmers and distributors to intercept fresh produce and deliver it to your door for 30-50% less than grocery store prices. Same freshness. Same quality. Just without the waste and a fraction of the price. Today, over 200,000 households across Canada get a weekly box. We've saved families over $50 million on groceries and rescued over 23 million pounds of fresh food from going to waste. Swipe to see why the food system needs fixing - and how your next grocery order can be part of the solution 👆 Get your first box at www.oddbunch.ca 🥕 Link in our bio.

Every box you order does more than save you money on groceries. It keeps fresh food out of landfills. It supports Canadian farmers who would otherwise lose income on surplus produce. And it puts a pound of fresh food into the hands of a family who needs it - because for every box purchased, we donate one pound to local food security partners. Good food shouldn't go to waste. And fresh produce shouldn't cost half your paycheque. Your weekly box is proof that both can be true. Happy National Sandwich Day! 🥪 A recipe that just so happens to work with all those onions coming in your box this week 👀🧅 This caramelized onion grilled cheese is the perfect combo of sweet, savoury, and gooey goodness. Snack it, serve it to your kids, make it dinner. It will hit the spot. 💛 Here’s how to make it (ours is GF + DF, but use whatever you’ve got!): ✨ Slice ½ an onion (shallots work beautifully!) ✨ Caramelize with butter + salt over low heat for 20–30 minutes, stirring every few minutes ✨ Spread cream cheese on your fave bread, add your onions, and sprinkle chili flakes if you like a kick 🌶️ ✨ Butter the outsides, toast in a pan, and devour 📌 Save this. You’ll crave it again tomorrow. by @oddbunchcanada

Comment "COMMUNITY" for 20% off your first Odd Bunch order! Food bank visits in Canada just hit a record 2.3 million a month. That number is hard to sit with. Grocery prices keep climbing, and more people are running out of options. Working in food, we see the other side of it every day: perfectly good food that never makes it to anyone’s table. We’re not going to pretend Odd Bunch solves this. It doesn’t. But it’s why we do what we do: rescue what we can, keep it affordable, and keep donating as much as we can. We’d love for you to do the same, whether that’s giving to your local food bank or sharing this with someone who needs it 💚 Get your first box from $16 at www.oddbunch.ca (link in bio) by @oddbunchcanada
