Somewhere between chasing more and being grateful for what already is.

Life is good. by @oddie4real

Find people who match your FRQNCY.

The kind of people who hear “Let’s race HYROX” and reply, “What time?”

Grateful for @bvera631 for showing up, embracing the suffering, and proving that everything’s a little more fun when you’ve got the right person beside you.

Until the next start line. ⚡️

Therapy is probably cheaper…

But here we are.

Flirting with cardiac arrest in Zone 5… again.

Six months of saying yes.

To the miles.
To the weights.
To the waves.
To the music.
To the chaos.
To the lessons.
To the people.
To God.

Almost halfway through 2026. Grateful for every moment. by @oddie4real

Saturday @bvera631 and I ran a HYROX Men’s Solo.
Sunday we ran a HYROX Men’s Doubles.

We barely slept. My body was already running on fumes from the previous week. After the solo race I was limping and in some of the worst pain I’ve felt in a long time. Every excuse was available.

We showed up anyway.

We even hit a PR.

But honestly, the older I get, the less the PR matters.

Because every race is relative.

We never know what someone is carrying when they step onto the start line. One person may be injured. Another may be fighting battles nobody can see. Another may simply be showing up because moving forward is the only thing keeping them sane.

The stopwatch doesn’t tell that story.

What matters to me now isn’t how fast I am compared to someone else. It’s who I become through doing hard things.

The discipline. The resilience. The faith.

I don’t do these things to prove I’m better than anyone.

I do them because I believe God uses adversity to shape His children. Every challenge is an opportunity to trust Him more, grow closer to Him, and become more capable of serving others.

The medal will collect dust. The race results will be forgotten. But the character built in the process remains.

If my efforts bring glory to God and inspire even one person to keep going when life gets hard, then every step was worth it.

Not chasing a finish time.

Chasing the man God is calling me to become. by @oddie4real

The pursuit isn’t just muscle or medals.

It’s reclaiming your fire — after setbacks, silence, and storms.
It’s waking up early to train while the world sleeps…
and staying up late to build something that outlives you.

It’s pushing sleds, chasing waves, wrestling with both doubt and destiny.

After 4 years away from competition, I came back — not for applause, but for alignment.

Every drop of sweat, every breath in the surf, every bruise on the mat —
it’s all part of a greater evolution.

Body. Mind. Soul. Spirit.

Building something far beyond fitness —
Building a foundation for the life I’m called to create.
