when I saw @onceuponaspaniel’s video of his #fastCAT run from last weekend, I knew I had the perfect chance to hop on this trend! There really is something cool about some super sick slow mo from a whole new perspective — and I also knew that Oliver would deliver a perfect run for this with those absolutely fantastic ears 🥹

You can request video of your dog’s run at the Springfield MO Dog Training Club FastCATs this weekend — just shoot me a DM to get on the list! by @oddpaw.studio

what’s in the bag?! 🌈 this @rei fanny pack comes onto the track with me every trial i cover and can carry a surprising amount of #dogsportphotographer supplies in it:

💩 @ruffwear poop bag holder, wipes & my keychains (emergency lens wipe! 😂)
🔪 the line cutter comes with me to EVERY coursing event (& you should have one if your dog’s running, too! happy to share the link to mine!)
🌭 snacks and backup snacks! got some @smackpetfood samples at FCI that are perfect for this!
💘 a @wildatheartpetcompany tug & some squeaky flat rats, in case i need to get some dog’s attention
💌 a stash of stickers to hand out or slap up somewhere, because i can never have enough stickers

it’s taken quite the beating over the last year and im starting to look around for something to replace it. would love to hear your #doghandler bag recommendations! by @oddpaw.studio

from my first dog all the way to alfie, i’ve captured them all on film one way or another. arbus came along at a time when i was deeeep into digital and while we’ve made hundreds of portraits together, none of them have been #onfilm until a serendipitous serious of events (over a course of years, really!) lead to me having him, the mamiya RB67 and a pack of #polaroid 669 in a patch of blooming pink peonies. it really felt like the good old days when fp100c was plentiful and i’m so grateful to have these shots of of our striking little dude. and i am really feeling the tug of the old RB67 lately! very tempted to drop $90 on a box of 120 for it 🥲 #peony #dogs #nikon by @oddpaw.studio
