🔆 PUPPET DESIGN TIME 🔆

Meet: SCALLION THE CLOWN MOUSE!!

Scallion is a character that embodies the concept of creativity and fun. Although he can come off as shy at times, he truly loves making friends and going on adventures. His favorite food is popcorn and he loves the smell of daffodils.

I really enjoy thinking of characters and what worlds they’d come from, so for me Scallion would live in a Mister Rogers-esque world, where education is just as pivotal as creativity.

Here’s a super simple character design sheet for him! Hope you guys like him!

🦋🤡 A Clown Princess & Her Critter Companion 🤡🦋

I’ve been trying to just sketch lately. Not make an entire finished product, just *sketch*. I barely allow myself to be comfortable with practice and making mistakes, and always pressure myself to FINISH something for the sake of finishing. So, I’m trying to just draw for the sake of getting my idea out of my head and onto some sort of canvas, whether it’s digital or physical. It’s been freeing and I’m enjoying it. Doesn’t have to be perfect, just has to be freeing and fun.

Ayo @btflglitch — Ever since you shared the idea about “Clown FUNeral”, I cannot stop thinking about it. So here’s a quick drawing of whoever that clown is in the middle, they all have my clown-loving heart though 🤡❤️🩵💛🖤🤍

Wanted to just practice posing and made this character. Don’t know who they are or what they are, some sort of marionette clown imp.

Decided to whip up a few more designs of Elizabeth’s costumes in moth form, specifically my favorite ones (and again, my absolute favorite being the bridal attire).

To me, Elizabeth’s journey throughout this adaptation of “Frankenstein” is much more transformative than we have seen before. I truly admire Mia Goth’s performance, and together with Kate Hawley’s brilliant vision with her costume design, Elizabeth becomes just as fascinating as Victor and the Creature, just as she deserves to be.

This film has been inspiring my art as of late, as you can see, and that makes me very happy. Being such a fan of the book, I’m so thrilled by Guillermo Del Toro’s adaptation. I had something different planned for my next piece inspired by the film but this idea came to me almost randomly and I had the urge to put the other concept on hold and to tackle this one for the day.

Forever grateful to @gdtreal for breathing such wondrous life into his adaption of “Frankenstein”. This story has meant a lot to me, and this film means even more. What a gorgeous heartache of a film and work of art.
