POV: About to go behind the decks and play live. I am setting intention and praying all goes well - I remember making a wish a few years ago that this would happen.
Life is strange this way, some dreams come true. Yet we forget.

A bit stressed because 1/ I've mastered myself all my tracks and 2/ it's a new mixer I have never tried playing with 3/ I'll share some unreleased tracks for the first time and it's always vulnerable 4/ I'm singing live so hoping I don't forget the lyrics and I feel comfortable singing so I guess there's a few unknown ;)

But I have my friends around and Bj told me I'll be next to you you go girl so I'm feeling very supported

POV: My psychotherapist told me once "you're not an artist". She was wrong.

I promised a trip down memory lane: my favorite band is AIR (or the one I listen to the most consistently for so long).

Being a teenager in south of france I remember many summer nights getting high and listening to that album ✨By that time I was writing still but composing very little - only with the guitar as I didn't have a piano. Ever performing live felt impossible.

Many limiting beliefs, and an environment that didn't value creativity at all - or treated it as a silly dream.

who you surround yourself with is so important.

I had prepared many ways the set could go, different vibes - and I guess this is the path that the moment followed.

Life can be overwhelming sometimes. A lot of stuff going on in the world that makes my heart heavy.

But then... ART.

As a hypersensitive person, art saves me ✨

Behind every song, a story. Someone were at a point in their life, in their craft. A memory, an encounter, a book they read. Something inspired them.

It's one of my favorite feeling.

Being inspired. sense of Awe.

Music like wind, moving like reeds.
Ambient is that expansive flow.

Term was officially coined with "Ambient 1: music for airports" by Brian Eno (1978).

LEONCE & OSMOS
live set at @garbicz_festival ⚕️🌊
Sunday, ambient stage, 2:30 PM

We'll be behind the ambient stage decks crafting a live act where we're alternating between modular synths, live singing, our own tracks and our favorite collection of songs.

After 9 years of playing mostly for and with each other, exploring many genres styles and seeing each other grow, it's been fun and intimidating to prepare this set - a live always includes some things you can't control...

But that's also part of the fun ;) See what comes in the moment, connect with the flow.

Music is really magic 🪄

Drop in to share what has inspired us: a textures' exploration, a trip down memory lane, an emotional tapestry, us having a good time sharing creativity as partners. And as partners, it's one of my favorite thing - that we always support each other and push always to new boundaries.

The ambient stage has always been my refuge at Garbicz and given the nature of my music (emotional, dreamy, kind of introspective) it just makes so much sense that it happened this way with the @lilacollectiveplayground -
so I'm thrilled to perform there for the first time.
