EveryHuman: When AI Becomes Your Perfumer | Raison d’Être NYC (Nov 14, 2026) Every partner at Raison d’Être was chosen for a specific sense. @every.human @algorithmicperfumery · Scent. Taste. Touch. Sight. Sound. Space. Time. System. New York City · November 14, 2026. Share & repost this to follow along as the rest are revealed. — An Ode to EveryHuman What drew us to EveryHuman is how it makes fragrance creation accessible through technology. A conversation with AI becomes a formula, and a formula becomes something you can smell, wear, and modify. We are especially interested in the relationship between algorithms and personal taste. Can a system translate something as subjective as identity into a scent? And what happens when the resulting fragrance doesn’t match what you expected to like? EveryHuman makes those questions tangible. Its approach turns fragrance into a process of experimentation, where each adjustment offers another opportunity to understand your preferences. For Ode, the most interesting role of technology isn’t simply predicting what we like. It’s giving us new ways to discover what we might like. by @odebymuno
Ridezign: Where Mathematics Meets Light & Design | Raison d’Être NYC (Nov 14, 2026) Every partner at Raison d’Être was chosen for a specific sense. @ridezign · Space. Sight. System. Can you feel mathematics before you understand it? Ridezign’s Tesser Collection explores that question through lighting designed around Fibonacci geometry. Ratios such as 5:3, 8:3, and 5:8 become physical objects, translating mathematical relationships into proportion, form, and light. New York City · November 14, 2026. Share & repost this to follow along as the rest are revealed. — An Ode to Ridezign What drew us to Ridezign is the math inside Tesser. The collection is built on Fibonacci geometry, and the lamps are even named for it: 5:3, 8:3, 5:8. Proportion becomes the language of the object, and that logic is felt before it is understood. The math has a home, too. Ridezign describes the Tesser Collection as an ode to New York City, a metropolis of perpetual motion and fleeting glimpses, inspired by the interplay of light and shadow across the facades of its skyscrapers. A sequence found throughout nature meets the city we are gathering in, and both arrive in one object. That is how perception works. A ratio becomes a feeling, a glimpse of New York becomes a reason to look again, and a material many people doubt, 3D-printed plastic, becomes something precious. For a room of technologists, scientists, and engineers, pattern is a shared language, and Tesser speaks it in light. by @odebymuno

SOS Chefs: Exploring Ingredients Beyond Taste | Raison d’Être NYC (Nov 14, 2026) Every partner at Raison d’Être was chosen for a specific sense. @soschefs · Taste. Scent. Touch. An ingredient is rarely just an ingredient. A spice carries geography. A vinegar carries a process. A grain carries texture, history, and cultural knowledge. What happens when we encounter ingredients without immediately thinking about how to cook with them? At SOS Chefs, we’re interested in exploring ingredients as sensory materials. How does a spice smell before we taste it? What can texture tell us about an ingredient’s origin or preparation? How do familiarity and cultural background influence what we find appealing? New York City · November 14, 2026. Share & repost this to follow along as the rest are revealed. — An Ode to SOS Chefs What drew us to SOS Chefs is the way the shop functions almost like an ingredient library. Its collection of spices, vinegars, salts, aromatics, and pantry goods offers a way to explore geography, culture, and craft through the senses. We are particularly interested in how ingredients move between sensory disciplines. A spice can become a fragrance reference. A grain can inspire a material. The sound of grinding, the texture of a dried ingredient, or the color of a powder can become the starting point for an entirely different experience. That interdisciplinary potential is what makes SOS Chefs relevant to Ode. We see ingredients not only as things to consume, but as materials for understanding how we perceive the world. by @odebymuno
hed NYC × Ode by Muno: A Six-Course Multisensory Dining Experience | Raison d’Être NYC (Nov 14, 2026) Every partner at Raison d’Être was chosen for a specific sense. @hednyc · Taste. Scent. Touch. Sight. Sound. Space. Time. System. What happens when a dinner is designed as an experience across all eight senses? At Raison d’Être, our six-course dinner is being co-designed by Chef Bryan Chew of hed NYC alongside Ode’s Culinary Experience Lead, Sensorium Designer, and Spatial Architect. Beyond the food, we’re considering how lighting, sound, scent, materials, spatial arrangements, and the sequence of each course influence what guests notice, feel, and taste. The goal is to immerse guests in a carefully designed environment where every element contributes to the experience and where changing the context might change how something is perceived. New York City · November 14, 2026. — An Ode to hed NYC What drew us to hed NYC is the way it plays with contrast and reinterpretation. Heritage Thai flavors meet bold aromatics, layered spice, and texture, so something familiar becomes surprising and something unfamiliar becomes compelling through context, preparation, and attention. That territory sits at the center of Raison d’Être. We were equally drawn to Chef Bryan Chew, who is co-developing the dinner with us. His interests mirror ours: experimentation, multisensory experiences, and the emotion in dining. Every dish he plans carries thoughtfulness, and we hope guests feel that care across the six courses. For me, it is also personal. My relationship with food began in a Nigerian home where meals carried memory, identity, and emotion, and where my mother was always exploring other cuisines. I have been drawn ever since to cooking that holds tradition and experimentation together, a conversation between heritage, curiosity, and craft. by @odebymuno
