Lost in Translation v13/8B (First Ascent)

Wow I don’t know how to start with this one. I have been looking at this boulder for around 3 years now and had been to intimidated to try it. A couple weeks ago @shaunm_davies got me to try it kinda as a joke. I was instantly obsessed. It ended taking me 6 sessions of work and ended in one of the most special moments I’ve ever had climbing. Everyone get stoked this thing needs a second ascent.

As for the grade I think it’s probably lower end 13 but who am I to say. I was trying it in the heat so it could be easier once it gets colder out but I do think this is the hardest thing I have ever done and a fells a full step up from all the 12s I’ve done. But who knows im soft come down grade me. taken in Pawtuckaway State Park by @odeeski14

This thing was an adventure my wrist popped out and I feel off the top out so as any responsible person would do I put a brace on and did it again and when my wrist popped out again I full crimped the jug. Also got food poisoning trying this thing and almost died on 495 multiple times.

This thing is definitely the hardest boulder I’ve ever done but i definitely don’t think it’s v13 only took 3 sessions and about 2 years off my life So v12 it is. taken in Farley Ledges by @odeeski14

I’m a heathy kid v12 ✅
Super stoked to do both of these today almost packed up and went home half way through the warmup because I felt super low energy but managed to focus up and have a pretty big day. by @odeeski14

5 years ago I saw a video of this boulder and it got me stoked on climbing outside. For years I’ve been dreaming of doing this boulder. Today i finally got the chance and it felt like this crazy full circle moment. This boulder changed my life before even trying it and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I’ve got 2 weeks left out here hoping to make the most of it. by @odeeski14
