🌴Bianca as the Island Princess🌴 Recently @starmistwrites issued me a citation for ALLEGEDLY forcing the Odette Locke Studio LLC employees (me) to work overtime without their mandatory breaks, with a penalty including but not limited to watching a Barbie movie with her and having some hot cocoa So we were watching Barbie as the Island Princess, and when Prince Antonio showed up on screen and I was like “wow look at him getting down on his knees already” and @starmistwrites was like “Killian and Bianca Island Princess AU” And honestlyyy??? I see the vision??? And the dress looks pretty on her by @odettelocke

Final item reveal ✨📚 I will recommend @odettelocke to literally anyone who’s looking for character art—she’s amazing to work with, and she has an incredible knack for pulling my characters out of my head exactly as I pictured them. This was the very first art I got for The Bookbinder & the Thief, and I literally lost half a day to just staring at it when it came in. I love it so much! Everyone who pre0rders The Bookbinder & the Thief through one of the partner stores will get a print of this art! Full campaign details will be posted tomorrow, along with the full list of partner stores and details on the digital rewards! The Bookbinder & the Thief is an adult fantasy rom com featuring an anxious bookbinder who gets magically glued to her one-night stand and has to go on the run with him to evade the law and undo the binding spell. …and her old boss’s daughter… Nobody knows private detective Katsumi Okazaki uses prophecy magic to solve her cases. While helping her client look for a missing person, Kat runs into her ex colleagues (and her ex girlfriend). Black Lilies and Lovers is book 2 in The Exalted series. Once again @odettelocke has CRUSHED IT with this commission and I am blown away (like Kat’s umbrella) I am so happy to reveal the first art for the sequel!! by @odettelocke

Starting off K|nktober with the PERFECT prompt for these two: bratting 😇 My goals for this challenge/prompt list are: - sketch as many of the prompts as I can - depict as many CANON EVENTS FROM THE BOOK as I can - sketch fast and loose and keep moving forward instead of getting stuck fiddling with things trying to make them perfect 😅 💖⚔️💖 My WIP, A Corps of Health and Safety, is a fantasy romcom about a burnt-out safety inspector who accidentally turns her strict new coworker into a berserker knight.
