Last week, someone said something that stayed with me: “We are at the mercy of our teachers.”
Have you thought about this before?

We don’t just experience life, we interpret it through the lens we’ve been given over time. And how is that lens formed? By what we consistently listen to, what we are exposed to, and ultimately, what we come to believe.

This is why it is so important to be intentional about who you listen to, what you listen to and what you allow into your heart. Over time, your life naturally aligns with your dominant thoughts and those thoughts are shaped by your exposure.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of being in the room with my mentor Coach @odeyemiolayiwole, Coach Bisi Akande and coach @Bisi Oyawoye.
Watching them inspire leadership in others so effortlessly was deeply inspiring and a powerful reminder of how the right voices can shape lives. by @odeyemiolayiwole

Friday, 27th March, was a powerful reminder of the value of intentional leadership.

The Inspired2Lead team had the privilege of facilitating a full-day retreat with the leadership team of MEDLOG Nigeria.

The focus: Review. Realign. Re-strategize.

MEDLOG Nigeria is a branch of a global logistics and transportation network operating in over 80 countries, with its headquarters in Switzerland, truly a world-class organization.

What stood out for me?

The energy in the room.

Leaders who are not only highly competent but also deeply committed to improving systems, strengthening collaboration, and driving results.

It is always engaging and energizing to facilitate conversations at this level—where ideas are challenged, perspectives are sharpened, and clarity begins to emerge.

Because the truth is:

High-performing teams don’t leave alignment to chance.
They create time to think.
They create space to reflect.
They commit to re-strategizing.

I’m already looking forward to our Q2 session with the MEDLOG leadership team as they move from collaboration to co-creation.
