Showing off a little bit of recent brick work on a full home renovation in Historic Downtown Greenville, SC. The seamless masonry was achieved through hard work and planning ahead. Each of these 100 year old bricks was carefully removed during the demo process before we framed the second story addition, hand cleaned and stacked, and re-installed on the house so that we could achieve the perfect match, and keep the original brick on this beautiful historic home.

When you are moving into your forever home, you want to make the space your own. You want the flooring, paint, cabinets, and tile to be finishes that you picked out, and that speak your language. We had a few relatively small projects on the list at this home for some wonderful clients that were moving to the area to settle down and enjoy retirement near their grandchildren. They were referred to us by their realtor @vivianhaney_wa and we helped them turn this house into their new home!

BEFORE - Kitchen Bar

BEFORE - Kitchen Island

The bar sink in the previous picture is right outside the frame to the left and the two sinks next to each other felt very redundant.

AFTER - Kitchen Island.

We removed the sink and dishwasher and moved them over to the bar counter. Then we installed a new quartz countertop making the island a little more fun and interesting!

AFTER - Kitchen Bar.

Now there is one sink, and a dishwasher where it feels like it should be. The island is now simple prep space, with an overhang for breakfast seating.

BEFORE - Primary Bathroom Tub.

This was a Jacuzzi tub with jets and was just not their style.

AFTER - Primary Bathroom Tub.

We replaced the Jacuzzi with a deep soaking tub undermounted to a simple but beautiful quartz top.

Much cleaner looking!

BEFORE - Hall Bathroom Shower.

Oh, this will not do.
Out with the bulky framed glass ———>

Said bye to the plastic shower ———>

AFTER - Hall Bathroom Shower.

Helloooo custom tile shower with clean frameless glass! 🤩

Clean and precise as always. @showerguardglass for easy cleaning and maintenance.

You don’t always need a major renovation to fall in love with your home again.

This kitchen already had great bones, but a few thoughtful updates made all the difference. New cabinet paint, backsplash, appliances, fixtures, and hardware completely changed the feel of the space.

We love helping families breathe new life into the homes they already love. Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest impact.

Swipe to see the transformation. by @odio_custom.builders

Ah, tile installation tips you never asked for but absolutely need because apparently grout lines don’t fill themselves and tiles don’t just magically align. Here's the lowdown for all you future professional tile heroes:

First, choose your tile like you choose your friends — won’t crumble under pressure and looks good for years. Porcelain or ceramic tiles are your go-tos, unless you want your floor to be an ongoing DIY cry fest.

Next, prep is not optional. Clean surfaces get tiles that actually stick. Skipping this? Congrats, your tiles are auditioning for a peeling-off reality show.

Use spacers like a control freak — those uniform grout lines aren’t going to happen on their own. Precision here screams "I know what I'm doing," and not "guess and hope."

Grouting? Slap it on, and then wipe it off before it turns into cement. Patience, not pressure, wins this game.

Finally, seal your grout to keep it looking fresh and not like a crime scene stain for the next decade.

Got a shower wall begging for this transformation? Don’t make it wait. Clean, sleek, and shiny tiles will make you forget about that hot mess you had before.

Stay edgy, but keep those tiles straight. Your bathroom deserves better.
