another day, another collage of our current design obsession.

there’s something about stripes that keeps pulling us back in. maybe because they add rhythm to a space. maybe because they make things feel less serious. or maybe because good interiors usually happen when you stop trying to make everything look “correct” and start leaning into the things you genuinely love.

ODLI is just how I naturally see and put things together. I’m drawn to contrasts, to mixes that don’t make sense at first but somehow work when they sit next to each other.

You don’t really see me in the frame, but I’m in all of it. In the way textures meet, in the choices, in how everything ends up holding together.

It’s the same instinct behind @mesteriiluipeshte too. That mix between raw metal and everything around it, that constant mix and match until it feels right.

Nothing here is random.

Ieri a fost 8 martie și m-am gândit mult la ideea asta de “woman empowerment”. De multe ori lumea te pune repede într-o cutie: mamă, antreprenor, soție. Și da, sunt toate lucrurile astea. Sunt mama a doi copii care îmi ocupă inima și agenda, sunt antreprenor într-un business care uneori e entuziasm pur și alteori stres și responsabilități, și sunt soția unui om cu care împart viața și toate nebuniile de pe drum.

Dar adevărul e că niciuna dintre etichetele astea nu e identitatea mea completă. Nu mă trezesc dimineața gândindu-mă „astăzi sunt antreprenor” sau „astăzi sunt mamă”. Sunt doar eu. O femeie care, în aceeași zi, poate să vorbească despre cashflow, să spele un biberon, să trimită un email și să se întrebe dacă face lucrurile corect.

Cred că empowerment-ul despre care tot vorbim nu e despre a fi perfectă în vreun rol sau despre a demonstra că le poți face pe toate. E despre libertatea de a fi toate lucrurile astea în același timp, fără să simți că trebuie să alegi una singură ca să te definească.

Pentru că noi nu suntem doar rolurile din lista de responsabilități. Suntem femei. Și în identitatea asta încap toate: responsabilitățile, dorințele, ideile, greșelile, lucrurile pe care le construim și cele pe care încă le visăm.

La mulți ani, femeilor. 🌸
