All the cameras we went with couldn't capture all the emotions at Notre Dame secondary school Mkar, Gboko.
From the way they welcomed us and ushered us into the school.
The love from the students and staff of the school was overwhelming.
To imagine that i Heard of this school for the 1st time on March 27th 2023 which was my birthday and now I'm experiencing this amount of love n honor from the school.
From giving me the best birthday gift in a beautiful song to becoming a family.❤️

Out of the 7 kids of my father, I’m the only one my grandmother named. I was born in my village in Ukohol, and I was told that when I was born, my grandmother held me and made a wish in Tiv. She said, “Or aduen yo Ikon man adue man anenge zegekwagh u a er hi ya na ne,” and that’s how I became Orduen.

As a little boy, I didn’t like the name much, and I would complain to my mom, asking her why all my brothers’ names had God in them and mine was picked from the depths of the village. My mother would laugh and tell me that it is because your grandmother said greatness was in you when you were born, and she wished that her husband would come back to life and witness it.

It took me years of growing up, growing my passion, and chasing my dreams to understand what my grandmother saw when I was born.

I thank God Almighty for keeping you alive long enough for you to enjoy my music with your small MP3 speaker that had all my songs in it, for the gift of your love all these years, and for blessing me to be able to take care of you, Mama. Most importantly, it gives me so much joy that God kept you long enough for my daughter to experience your love, warm hugs, and to have memories with her great-grandmother.

I will miss you, but I will, more than anything, celebrate your life, Mama Wam Za Dedoo ❤️💐 by @odwoods
