This one took a while to write.

If you've been following us for a while, you might have noticed things have been quiet. The truth is, it's been a difficult couple of years - shipping losses, wholesale and retail challenges, and the reality of building something small without the infrastructure to match our ambitions.

We gave it everything we had; after a lot of reflection, we had to accept that this chapter needed to close.

Oeurs was never just a company that makes shoes for us; it was the drive to provide women with the same quality and craft that has always been reserved for men's shoes, amongst a whole lot of other things.

We're not completely disappearing, but we are taking time to regroup, reenergise, rethink, before we retry.

To everyone reading this:
Thank you for being here, for wearing these shoes, for the kind words, for witnessing our journey, and for getting what we were trying to do. It meant more than we ever said.
