What we found were incredible places hidden all over the UK, and that’s how Off Grid Camp was born.

❓Is my vehicle suitable for Off Grid Camp?

✅YES! (We have a spot for every vehicle.)

Each location has a rating from 1 to 3, so you can always find the right adventure for your rig:
1️⃣Level 1: Any vehicle (Over 80 locations!) – Easily accessible from a public road.
2️⃣Level 2: Off-road capable – Suitable for vehicles with higher ground clearance. May involve some uneven terrain or rougher tracks where caution is advised.
3️⃣Level 3: Experienced off-road drivers only – For highly capable 4x4s and experienced drivers on steep, rutted terrain.

👀Before you join, you can view the vehicle requirements for all of our locations on our website! Once you’re a member, you can use our interactive map to easily filter for spots that suit you.

🤝If you’re ever unsure, we always suggest you chat directly with the host when booking – they’ll be able to advise on current ground conditions.

Hidden within the incredible Glanusk Estate in the Black Mountains are some seriously special corners of Wales — from high-altitude mountain camps with views across the Usk Valley, to secluded riverside spots and remote locations that feel a world away from everyday life.

Through Off Grid Camp, members can now access six unique locations across the estate, each offering something completely different. Whether you’re after a peaceful spot by the river or a more challenging off-road adventure, there’s something here for every kind of explorer.
And this isn’t just about finding somewhere beautiful to camp. Glanusk is a working estate with a strong focus on protecting the land, with several locations sitting within protected areas. That means exploring responsibly and leaving no trace is more important than ever. 🌿

There’s just something about doing the simplest things outdoors that makes them so much better.

A morning coffee with a view. Cooking dinner over the fire. Getting absolutely filthy on a muddy track. Waking up somewhere completely quiet. Or sitting around the fire long after dinner, talking absolute rubbish.
