I had a fantastic weekend! Got to spend time with my students. See old fiends and bring home a gold medal!! Not only that but my friends hosting the tournament, @valourfencing , had some amazing sponsors. So I got to bring home a fantastic blade from @unicfencing as well, I drank about 5 @electrolitcanada beverages.

Holy smokes!! Ava is two today. Wow. Time is flying by.

Ava is already taking and know a lot of animals. She is a mover and loves to climb. She already has shown signs of having a good throw and kick.

Omg!!!! What a day for me, as well as OFF, but that post will be coming soon! I had a blast!!! I did fantastic and I’m super proud of what I was able to accomplish.

I got a gold medal in the 30+ vets! But each elimination match was freaking tough!! Mitch took me to 10-9!!!!

Then I entered the senior mixed with 23 fencers, all of whom brought their A game. I did well in Pooles and I beat Lucas Pang for the first time! I had a hell of a time in each elimination match! Each match I ended up behind my opponent (score wise) and I had to climb past them and dig deep! It was so incredibly hard but worth it!

I thought my student, Eitan, would have beaten me quite easily, but I held my own and only lost by 2 points, 15-13.

All day I scored 148 touches and was hit 95 times!! Holy smokes I’m sore!

Thank you to all the fencers who participated as well as fencers from Valour Fencing Club, Delta Fencing Club and Dynamo Fencing Club who came to represent their clubs! by @off_coach_matt

We came. We fought and we conquered the competition. @mason.but.realer brought home the gold from the latest @ubcfencing held Stephen Lazar memorial tournament.
