@Offbeatjxn is much more than a record store. It’s a cultural anchor built on taste, consistency, and community. Founded by @djyoungvenom in Jackson, Mississippi, Offbeat has become a blueprint for what it looks like to serve culture while shaping it. It’s a space where records, comics, skate culture, and storytelling all live under one roof. From vinyl-only DJ sets and community listening sessions to the Offbeat Skate Crew and advocacy for Black-owned record stores, Offbeat has never followed a traditional path. It’s carved its own. This dude is special and he’s helped so many others in Jackson and beyond. He even helped Crate Culture Co. with some sound advice that helped shape how we do things. Appreciate you Venom!
