To Mariah:

I learned something about physics the other day that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about.
When light touches someone or something, even just sunlight on an ordinary day, it bounces off and keeps traveling through space.
Since light takes time to move, someone 1 light-year away would see Earth as it was 1 year ago. Far enough away, and in theory, they could still see the age of dinosaurs.
And that means the light that once touched the people we love, the places we miss, and the moments we wish we could hold onto is still out there, still moving.
The past doesn’t fully disappear. It changes form. It travels.
And maybe there’s comfort in knowing that nothing is truly lost in the universe. It only becomes something else. I hope one day we can find peace.

Happy birthday. I miss you ❤️ by @offbrand_versace

From the reception to the after party to my uncles tearing up the dance floor, it was an amazing trip.

There was a protest on the wedding day that we refused to interrupt, so in true Cameroonian fashion the bride was late to her own wedding 🇨🇲🎉 by @offbrand_versace

I did it again. I went to the beach. In the middle of the night. I found a spooky spooky tunnel at the beach at midnight. I bet the frog man lives there. I bet he almost got me. Look out for the frog man. He’s after us all. 🐸
