Just call me Photo Shoot Shawty! As a young girl, I always wanted to be a model. However, never pursued it because of my scars. I am learning to be comfortable as someone’s Muse! Modeling is not an easy task. #photoshoot#modeling#atlanta#disatlhoe by @offgridsis

This picture really takes me back to a wonderful phase of life! I was about 9 years old. One year after I got burned, few surgeries, physical therapy and counseling. Do you see me in my spaghetti strap dress with skirt tucked up riding my purple mongoose bicycle??? I never cared about my scars, it was others insecurities I had to deal with. I would ride my bike all over, explore and talk to whoever I saw. I wore dresses and climbed trees. I have always loved my Freedom and ability to just be me. I still wear dresses and have climbed some pretty tall trees over my life!! I wonder if I could get this bike in an adult size, you would not be able to tell me anything! #youngNia#purplemongoose#pembrokepines#1989#herbalist#burnsurvivor by @offgridsis
